Dr. Scott Grieco is the Global Principal for Emerging Contaminants & Research at Jacobs. He is an expert in the evaluation and treatment of PFAS, emerging contaminants, and other persistent environmental compounds. Scott has more than 35 years of experience in the design, optimization, and implementation of water treatment systems across the public utility, environmental remediation, and industrial sectors. For the past 15 years, Scott has focused on PFAS investigation, evaluation, and treatment and has authored numerous publications on PFAS.

He currently serves as a Water Research Foundation (WRF) Project Advisory Committee (PAC) member, an Advisory Council member of the New York State Healthy Water Solutions Center of Excellence (NYS COE), and is a member of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) PFAS Technical Work Group.

Scott holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, an M.S. in Environmental Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Bioprocess Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer in New York.
