VCP/Brownfields Program Manager
Bill graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Geology. He started his
career with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection in the Waste Cleanup
Program. Bill moved to Utah in 1997 and began working with the UDEQ/DERR. He started as a
project manager in the VCP/Brownfields Section and later accepted the Section Manager
position for the VCP/Brownfields Section in 2006, where he still manages the program.
Bill oversees a team of project managers who work with private parties and communities to
assess, cleanup and manage contaminated sites or potentially contaminated sites. Over the
years, Bill has been involved with hundreds of sites in some capacity and worked with
numerous communities and private developers to find solutions to challenging Brownfields
issues. Bill and his team have had key touch points on many successful cleanup and
redevelopment projects throughout Utah.
