EPA Region 4 Chief Superfund Scientist

 

Tim Frederick is the Chief of the Scientific Support Section in the Superfund and Emergency Management Division with EPA Region 4 in Atlanta, GA. He leads a group of scientists that provide human health and ecological risk assessment, toxicology, hydrogeology, statistics and other technical support to EPA’s project managers on a wide variety of sites in the Southeast.  Tim has worked in the Region’s Superfund Division since 2005.  In addition to his duties at EPA, Tim also teaches a course in environmental risk assessment at the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health.
