Mr. French is Vice President of Vertex and has 30 years of experience and expertise in the environmental engineering field, specializing in environmental site assessment and remediation. Mr. French has been involved in the design and implementation of remediation programs across Canada involving permeable reactive barriers (PRBs), carbon adsorption, in-situ chemical oxidation and reduction, aerobic and anaerobic biodegradation, etc. in soil, groundwater and fractured bedrock for a variety of environmental contaminants, including petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, heavy metals and other compounds. Mr. French holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Waterloo, is a Professional Engineer in Ontario and a Qualified Person in Ontario.
