Jeff Myers joined the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) in 2006 as a member of the Brownfields Team, bringing with him five years of experience in environmental health and safety from the corporate and banking sectors. He holds a BS in Environmental & Public Health Science from East Central University and an MS in Accounting from Oklahoma City University. He was promoted to the Brownfields Department Manager in 2014 and has built a program which seeks to help people revitalize their communities one property at a time.
Jeff has worked in many OCC areas and programs fostering a strong foundation for environmental stewardship, public service, and community involvement. His passion for the environment stems from his childhood experiences, instilled by his parents' love for hiking and enjoying nature. He enjoys the privilege and opportunity to work with people in protecting and restoring that very nature for future generations. Robert Baden-Powell said it best, “leave it better than you found it”.
