Utilities Compliance Manager

Drew Boylson is the Utilities Compliance Manager for Pinellas County Utilities. In his role, he oversees the tracking of pertinent legislation and regulatory updates that may affect the County as well as acts as compliance support for the two wastewater and one potable water facilities operated by the County. He also oversees the Utility’s potable water distribution flushing program and Private Sewer System Program.

Drew graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Forest Resource Conservation, focusing on Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, and is currently in the capstone semester of a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Illinois Springfield. Drew’s background includes environmental work with prescribed burning and studies on gopher tortoises and red-cockaded woodpeckers before transitioning to the utility industry. In his spare time, he enjoys watching sports and anything related to being close to the water or outdoors.
