Cathy Swanson has 18 years of experience in ion exchange treatment for groundwater. She serves as Vice Chair of the AWWA Ion Exchange Committee and Co-Chair of its Subcommittee writing standards for Ion ExchangeĀ including PFAS, Perchlorate, Uranium, Chromium VI, Nitrate, etc. She is also Secretary of the CA-NV AWWA PFAS Subcommittee. Based in Southern California, she holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from UNC Chapel Hill.
