Brian J. Campbell is a licensed Professional Geologist and a Remediation Project Manager at the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). Serving in the Voluntary Remediation Program, he promotes land restoration and redevelopment across Virginia by helping program participants remediate contaminated property. He also works closely with DEQ’s Brownfields Program to achieve shared goals. With 14 years of wide-ranging experience in site characterization and remediation, including nine years as a private-sector consultant, he enjoys guiding complex projects to regulatory closure. He holds undergraduate degrees from the University of Oklahoma and a M.S. in Geological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
