Mr. Stanphill is the Southern California Division Chief for the Department of Toxic Substances Control’s Site mitigation and Restoration Program. He oversees approximately 100 staff, primarily project managers for southern California Sites in the voluntary cleanups, RCRA Corrective Action, Schools, and Discovery and Enforcement groups. Prior to his current role Mr. Stanphill was an internal technical expert at DTSC and a Principal Engineer at Arcadis U.S. Inc. Mr. Stanphill graduated from Harvey Mudd College with a Bachelors of Science in Engineering and is a licensed Civil Engineer in California. During his career Mr. Stanphill has worked on many environmental remediation projects including vapor intrusion, in situ chemical oxidation, soil vapor extraction and bioremediation projects.
