Brownfields Manager
Ms. Samwel has worked at the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality for more than 20 years. She worked as a project manager in the Superfund Division for 13 years, and has been managing the state’s Brownfields Program for the past 7 years. She has also been the project manager on a number of large scale Voluntary Cleanup Sites, including the remediation of abandoned refineries, industrial facilities with chlorinated solvents, and metal-contaminated sites.
Ms. Samwel graduated with a BS in Natural Sciences from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2001.
