John Gross is the Environmental Group Manager with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s Land Recycling Program. He has been with the Commonwealth since 2015 and he is responsible for implementing and maintaining the brownfield (Act 2) program. He is sits on the board of the Lehigh Valley Land Recycling Initiative, an advisory committee which focuses on providing economic development of underutilized properties in the Lehigh Valley. John is also Pennsylvania’s Honorary Government Member of the Brownfield Coalition of the Northeast Board of Directors. Mr. Gross has a Chemistry degree from Lebanon Valley College and prior to joining the Commonwealth, he worked for 12 years at an environmental lab as a chemist and project manager, and 9 years for a water treatment and well drilling firm in sales and design of water treatment equipment and compliance for small water systems.
